What is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy uses hypnosis to help you make positive changes and achieve your goals.
In a state of relaxation and with focus, you can become open to new ways of thinking, feeling and going about your life.

Our approach to hypnotherapy is optimistic and liberating because it is solution-focused. Unlike other types of psychological therapy, you will not spend a lot of your time focusing on the problem.  Instead, we will use techniques that will allow you to focus your subconscious mind and attention on the improvements required so you can then move on with how you want to live your life – a healthier, happier you!

What happens in a hypnotherapy session?

Every session is unique and tailored to your individual needs.

Most sessions last about 50 mins to an hour, however for some issues, like addictions, sessions can be 1.5 to 2 hours.
Everyone experiences hypnotherapy in a unique way.

Most people describe it as a type of daydream, where they are deeply relaxed and learn to make positive changes to their lives.

Hypnotherapy does not need you to know all the reasons for your worries or fears.

How many sessions will I need?

This will depend on your issue, and of course every individual is different.

As an example, stop smoking therapy takes one extended session, anxiety issues can be treated in about three sessions, but weight control requires a longer treatment plan.

The therapy is always centred around you and I will act as your guide and provide support.

Do you offer any guarantees?

Unfortunately, I cannot guarantee that you will change your unwanted behaviours, thoughts or feelings because there are so many factors that can affect the outcome.
Individual results can vary.

There is no guarantee that hypnotherapy will be effective in every case.
For hypnotherapy to be successful you need to be open to change and fully committed.

How much do sessions cost?

I offer a 15 minute phone consultation FREE of charge.  You can then decide if it’s right for you.
The first session is £110 and lasts between 1hr30 and 2hrs.
Subsequent sessions are charged at £80 and last 50mins to 1hr

How do online sessions work? Are they as effective?

Studies show that Online Hypnotherapy can be just as effective for many issues.  You just need a good Wi-Fi connection and a PC/Laptop with a webcam, or a Tablet or Smart Phone.  Headphones can help give an enhanced experience.

How can I verify that you are a licensed hypnotherapist?

I am a registered, fully accredited and insured hypnotherapy practitioner.
